Bocock Family Farm

Work began at the Bocock Family farm north of St. Albert in the spring of 2010. Great Canadian Solar Ltd. (GCS) was contracted to construct a 3.36 kW grid connected photovoltaic (PV) power system initially. Work began in the spring of 2011 to increase the system to 5.08 kW and then 11.32 kW in 2016.

The project consisted of:

  • Design of the PV system;
  • Filing of electrical, building, and utility interconnect permits;
  • Procurement of all necessary materials;
  • Construction;
  • Commissioning;
  • Post construction system monitoring and maintenance.
